Blogging

Hey peeps I know I haven’t made a good post in a while but I think you will all understand. My mother is out of the hospital. Her blood pressure is really low still and she is still very weak. We are still praying for her full recovery. Thank you all for your prayers and support.

I made a decision about my story’s. The one I have started here I cannot finish now for it really happened exactly like I told you. That happened to me a few weeks ago obviously I got home and I am fine now. Although I know I can make it a good story eventually I no longer have inspiration for that now, BUT I have been working on another story since last year it’s pitiful how long it takes me. Of course that is because it is not one of my priorities. I would like to know who would like to here this one I have probably two chapters written and I am working on more. I would love to post them but would like to know that you are reading and I would like comments I mean look I am an amateur at writing and I have no claim to fame, but I like to think I have a good imagination and that I could develop a good writing style. So please I am begging I would like to have at least two reader’s because I already know I will have one faithful reader and friend which I am very grateful for but I would like to have at least one more. Even if they are anonymous that’s fine just one more faithful reader of a story I would like to write.

Why do they hate the blogging world so very much. Do we not speak truth the way we see it. Freedom of speech is an awesome right we hold dear. If not for freedom of speech our beliefs would be in jeopardy. Our very lives would be threatened. So some are more critical, some more uplifting, some downright ugly but it is who we are. We are crying out in a new way and we are being heard. Do not take this right from us. Once you start it will never end. No longer will we be able to worship in the way we see fit, no longer will we be free at all. It will progress into churches, private schools, and then our very homes. Already it has started. We must be as politically correct as possible watch what we say and do in front of certain people to protect our homes. The very sanctity of life has been taken away. Lord, have mercy upon us!!!!!!!!! Come quickly Lord Jesus and deliver us from this sinful, hateful world.

Ok guys I just had to write that more later…………

Psalms 121

Ok I’m better now. Sorry about last night guys it is just not an easy thing right now. I did actually get to see mama last night which made me feel better. They are trying to get medicine in her. Even intravenously it is causing problems. When they  tried to give her a strong dosage her arm started to charlie horse. They had just put a more diluted form of the medicine through the I.V.  Before, daddy and I had to come home. I still wish I was there with her.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer they foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade on thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth and ever for evermore.

Psalms 121

My soul will rest on these promises for today.

I miss my mama

I miss my mama. Please pray for her. She is in the Hospital with a kidney infection. And pray for me that can just keep going. I haven’t even gotten to see her since Sunday. I enjoyed going to the nursing home tonight but now I wish I would have come home so I could see mama.

Sunday School and Othe

Hey Everybody,

Welcome It’s me again! Today I am up early again today. I am trying to make this a habit and it’s not as hard as it used to be. LOL JSo Let’s see I do need to ask for prayer because My mother is very sick she has a kidney infection. L And both Esther and Bethany had fevers and were coughing last night. Which means I didn’t get to go to the class on how to teach Bible Studies, the one I have been looking forward to ever since I heard it announced. Hopefully I can still go next week and not have missed out too much.

Last week, I was so busy working on my Sunday school project that I didn’t get much of anything else done. I made thirty books depicting the ten plagues that Egypt suffered because Pharaoh wouldn’t let the people of Israel go. We really had fun in class. The kids were kept busy and they loved the story. I always love teaching Sunday School. This week it was also neat to have my sister Racquel helping out in class. She loved it too. I still can’t wait to teach with Bro. Thiel ( I spelt it right that time) next month. I love working with Sis. Ziemer, but it is always neat to teach with Bro. Thiel as well.

I have put in my resignation at Checks. I just can’t stand working there anymore. I hate it more every day. So I have now applied (I guess you could say) at our school. I’ve really put a lot of prayer and thought into this one and believe it is the right thing to do. We shall see. I’ll leave you with today’s quote

Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to be that perfectly.

                                                                                                -St. Francis de Sales

Please visit Amyan too. See ya guys I Promise to post more of my story on Thursday.

No Work

Hallelujah I didn’t have to go to work after all. Instead I stayed home and made pigs in blanket, pizza twists, and meatloaf with my mom. It was an interesting day. I also did my hair in a different style I have wanted to try for a long, long time. It actually looks pretty nice if I do say so myself. My sister Racquel actually agrees that it looks good which is unheard of most of the time. In fact last Sunday I had on this awesome outfit. The Jacket and skirt match in a bright green and black plaid, I wear a black shirt underneath the jacket with bright green shoes, purse, and an awesome fuzzy hat to match. We argued all morning about whether or not it matched. I decided to wear whether she liked it or not my dad said it looked ok and he actually has a good eye when he is paying attention. I actually got a lot of compliments. It was kind of funny actually because we had a nursing home service and for some reason nursing home services always fall on Sunday’s when I feel like dressing up. I promise I don’t do it on purpose but it always happens. Anyways the activities director came in and looked at me and says “I had to come in here and see what cute outfit you had on today.”  I blushed and said thank you. Then went to church Sunday night and told my sister I told you so. I know it probably isn’t altogether right but I love being right. Many of my friends can tell you so.

Anyways see ya later

Oops i forgot to  post this guys so here it is kinda late. :)

Ten Plagues

I thought this was cute so i'm posting it please don't ask why. I am teaching on the ten plagues tomorrow and so it has to do with my lesson. I had to take a break in cutting out circles in sstiffened felt for hailstones. lol :) So here it is. This should be sung to the tune of "This Old Man"

FirstGod sent plague number one,
Turned the river into blood.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

Next God sent plague number two,
Frogs jumping all over you.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

The God sent plague number three,
Itchy lice from head to knee.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

Then God sent plague number four,
Swarms of flies: please shut the door.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

Then God sent plague numeber five,
Animals in Egypt - they all died.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

Then God sent plague number six,
Boils and sores; they're yucky ick.!
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

Then God sent plague number seven,
Hailstones fell down from heaven.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

Then God sent plague number eight,
Locusts ate and ate and ate.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

then God sent plague nuber nine,
Total darkness, no light to shine.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

The God sent plague number ten;
Firstborn sons died, kids and men.
The Egyption people were feeling mighty low.
They told Pharoh, "Let them go!"

That was cute huh! I'd also like to leave you all one more thought. I was on my way to church last night and the bus driver said something i had never heard before i'm sure it is a quote though i don't know where from.

If there is no penalty for wrong doing, there is no reason to change.
                                                                                                   -I don't know

I find that so true.
I may have more to post later on right now i have to get back to cutting out the rest of my hailstones (circles).  I still have 196 to go joy joy.
Oh BTW check out my friend Amyan's blog. She is a new blogger so welcome her to the world of blogging.

Tea & other ramblings

Hello it’s me again. I know this is an ungodly hour to be posting something but I woke up at 4am this morning and felt like coming up here to blog. I think it is starting to become an addiction.

I have already had my morning cup of cinnamon apple spice tea mmmmmmmm so delicious. I love tea. It soothes the soul I believe. Just the fresh herb like smell makes me refreshed. Refreshed this early in the morning yes I do feel exactly that. I have to go back to work today and I am not really looking forward to it. I mean how enjoyable I get to go and say the same thing over and over and over and over again. Sounds exciting, right? It makes me depressed just thinking about it. I have decided to start looking for a new job something I would enjoy that I could do part time then I could do checks part time also and keep all of their awesome benefits. So I will keep looking. Sorry no continuance of the story today. I am working on an angle that came to me yesterday and trying to figure out how to incorporate it. Well see ya’ll later I can’t think of anything else for this morning.

Oh wait a minute one more thing. I would like to let you all know I am very grateful for your comments. It helps to know someone is out there actually reading some of my disjointed ramblings.

An Start to my story

Hey you long time no see! Seat yourself on one of my beautiful couches , kick off you shoes(need some socks for stinky feet no problem they are right there in that basket Dark Green ones for you men and Light Green for you ladies.) pull up a pillow and make yourself comfy. Drinks anyone? my specialty today is peppermint tea mmmm smell the aroma, I also have hot apple cider with caramel to add some extra sweets, maybe some French Vanilla Capp? Ok I’ll be right with that. Creamer anyone, I also have soy if needed, sugar, Splenda? Right on it. Ok are we all settled now? Great It’s a long one today so I hope your ready.

To begin thank you all for your prayers they are greatly appreciated. Mama J my pastors wife, is still in danger although they found no actual blockage in her artery she does have damage to something electrical she says I’m not exactly sure what she means by this but I do know that she is not out of the danger zone yet. Also Bro. Zeimer has the more treatable type of cancer which is a good thing although we still believe for complete healing. I also covet you prayers for myself. I have been having a lot of voice problems lately and my throat is swollen badly right now I will be on my way to the doctors when I am done visiting with you all here.

I have an interesting story to tell you all today I hope you will enjoy it. It will be partly fictitious and partly true but all names will be changed for true characters.

Set in the 21st century, Colorado Springs, Co, USA.

Anne sighed a breath of relief as she logged out of the phone for the day. She immediately jumped up and called across the divider to her friend Charity.

“ Hey, Charity, can you take me to the bus stop this afternoon?”

“Sure Anne, no problem, give me a minute here ok?”

“Ok. I have to finish up here anyways.”

She sat back down and quickly closed all of her programs before restarting the computer and turning off the screen. Then she finished tallying all of her sales for the day. She shoved all the papers on her desk into her desk drawer “I’ll put it back in order tomorrow.” She thought to herself, “I’m getting out of here.” She picked up her tally sheet and her purse after dropping off the tally sheet she met Charity at the end of their row.

“Ready to go little lady?” Charity asked

“Uhuh, I’m so sick and tired of being on the phones aren’t you?” Anne replied

            “That’s an understatement!” Charity said.

They headed out the door after clocking out. The sun beat down relentlessly outside but the two girls loved just getting outside of the building for a little while. They hopped in Charity’s green car and headed for the bus stop chatting all the way. When they got to the parking lot near the bus stop they continued to talk until the bus drove up and Anne jumped out of the car calling goodbye and thank you as she rushed to catch the bus. Digging in her purse for her thirty one day pass she got irritated with herself because she couldn’t find it. So she pulled $0.85 out and asked the bus driver if it would work she was really sorry. He let her get on but she didn’t feel right about it so got out at the Chapel Hills Mall. Wondering whether she had any money in her account in order to get out some money from an ATM she went inside and checked her account finding she only had $10 in her account.

“Oh no” she thought “why am I so stupid! Hmmm I wonder where I can go and buy something and only get $5 dollars out instead of $20 or $10………. K-mart might let’s go see.”

She quickly walked down to K-mart and picked up a pop from the cooler without thinking to ask how small of change you can get back she went ahead and bought it. Then found out that she could only get $10 out.

“Aggravation,” she thought, “now what am I gonna do?”

She walked out of the store opened the pop and drank some. She couldn’t figure out what she should do. She didn’t want to bother her mother since she had been so sick. So she called her friend Brandy instead.

“Hello,” Brandy answered.

“Hi, Brandy watcha doin?” Anne asked

“Oh just getting ready for church tonight how about you?” Brandy replied.

“Well I’m trying to get to church but I’ve run into a problem. I was wondering if you have it in your ENT account could transfer over just 5 dollars so that I can get some money out so I can get on the bus. You see I only have 10 dollars in there and the only place around here will only give $10 out but I have to buy something first.” Anne asked.

“I would love to help you Anne, but I don’t have any money in that account.” Brandy answered.

“Oh well, Thank you anyways darlin’   I thought I would try at least.” Anne replied “I guess I’d better let you go so that you can get ready pray that I find a ride ok.”

“Ok I’ll see you at church.” Brandy said. “Bye”

“mm’Bye” Anne replied.

“Hmm now what do I do?” Anne wondered. “I guess I’ll have to call mom after all.”

She dialed the quick number for her mother on her cell phone. “ring, ring, ring,  “This is Diane, sorry I’m not here right now if you’ll leave your name, number, and a message I’ll get back to you as soon as possible. BEEP.”

“Argh,” Anne sighed. “ maybe Jo Anne will come pick me up.”

She dialed again and got another answering machine. So she text messaged her and let her know she would probably be late since she was supposed to be praise singing. Now Anne knew what she was going to have to do. She was going to walk down Academy until she found someplace she could take out only five dollars. So she started out across the parking lot and then across the street her hair, which she had left down, whipping in the wind. Right after she crossed the street it started to rain. So she dashed into the Barnes & Noble bookstore. Then she remembered that her friend worked in the Starbuck’s café there. She went up to the counter and asked for Leonard.

“He’s not here sorry.” The man said.

“Does he still work here?” Anne asked.

“Yeah, but only once a week.” The man replied.

“Thanks.” Anne said.

She walked away trying to figure out what to do next. She tried calling her mom again but the call wouldn’t go through for some reason. So then she tried calling her house. She still didn’t get through. Her phone wasn’t working. She sat down and tried to figure out what else she could do. It was getting late and if the didn’t get a ride soon she wouldn’t be able to get to church at all. So she got up and asked to use the phone. She called mom again, still no answer. I give up she thought. So she went and got a book and started to read.  Several times she got up and went outside thinking it had stopped raining but no it was still raining.  Finally she finished the book and went outside again fortunately it had stopped raining. So she started briskly out. Soon she found out that this was the time of night that all the sprinklers were on. So she ran through most of them thinking it was really not much different than walking in the rain. About 15 minutes later she saw a King Supers and remembered that they normally asked if you wanted cash back. So she went in and asked the lowest amount they would give. Sure enough it was 5 dollars. “Thank you Jesus” she prayed under her breath. For by this time she was almost in tears because she was so aggravated at herself for her stupidity of not only that night but also of her actions that had her without reliable transportation for herself.

This is just the first part of the story I’ll have more later peeps. Please comment on my story writing abilities. I know this is just the first part and I am working on the rest of it but I would like your opinions.
